La race n’existe pas is a musical video of Pascal Lièvre in black and white format 4/3.
It uses the aesthetic codes of Angela Davis’ videos of the early 70s in particular in its very tight framing.
A woman facing the camera sings a text by philosopher Achille Mbembe from her book Critique de la raison nègre on the music Shine bright like a diamond by the barbadian singer Rihanna.
