At first, there were her words : “Everything about my life lies in my poems”.
These words demonstrated the discretion and restraint she shows when it comes to talk about herself. These words also incite to discover her texts.
Then, there was a rock song with the lines of her poem “Never twice”. Gradually, like a collage, a (small) portrait was drawn up from poems, words, video clips, archive footage, pictures, questions...
I therefore invite you to get acquainted with Wisława Szymborska, a Polish poet who was awarded the 1996 Nobel Prize in Literature.
